Launched on the cusp of spring in 2012, Avery by Wang is a fashion label making a statement away from the constant renewal of trend to a more whole, conscious view of design. We are makers of luxury wardrobe essentials and limited edition pieces that study the intersect between timeless and contemporary.

It all started with a search for the classic, white button down shirt. When it was easier to find more shirts with extraneous detail than it was to find an ethical alternative on classic luxury, Avery became the seed for an idea to pare down excess and wasteful consumption to make clothes that move towards a better fashion industry. Our statement in a world of mass consumerism and apathetic fashion can be found in the playfully understated, where clean lines, thoughtful details, and inspired colours and prints create a synergistic and fresh approach to timeless fashion.

Designed and made in Vancouver, Canada – dubbed the “liquid city” and “Manhattan with mountains”, Avery is inspired by our sensual, natural landscapes and the enduring nature of simplicity – with a social and eco conscious perspective, we take the term “a fresh spin on classics” to heart.
